Friends of the Tiger

Friends of the Tiger is the name of our membership organization. It is a group of unique individuals who believe we owe a great debt to the great cats. It is a group of people who are doing something to help the cats now that they no longer have free territories and are dependent upon us.  When you become a member of Friends of the Tiger, you become an essential part of the effort to provide these wonderful big cats the home, and life they deserve. You become a part of their lives, because without you, we cannot continue our work, and they cannot continue to live the peaceful, stress-free life they are entitled to. As a member, you will be a friend to all the Great Cats who need you, but especially, a Friend of the Tiger. Here are some questions you may want answered.  Why is membership important to Tiger Haven?  A non-profit organization is often judged by the size of its membership. It indicates the number of people who believe in and support the organization and its purpose. Membership dues provide a substantial amount of the operating expenses for organizations such as Tiger Haven.  If I became a member of Friends of the Tiger, what would be expected of me? You are not required to do anything other than be a friend to all animals, especially the big cats. You may choose to help in other ways, but that is your choice.  How much is yearly membership dues, and what are the benefits?  Individual Membership is $28. You will receive a Membership Certificate and a window decal. Family Membership is $48. You will receive a "Membership Certificate" and two (2) window decals. Business Membership is $500. You will receive a "Membership Certificate" and four (4) window decals.  How do I join?  Just click on one of the Membership links above. You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Yes, we know the tigers have a great many friends of all ages, and you also will be a friend. But if you are under 18 years of age, you will need to have your parent or guardian send in the application form for you.

Can you give us a paw?

These Friends of the Tiger Certificate will bear witness to all of your alliance with the tiger. It is standard certificate size so that you may frame it and place it with your other honors of achievement.
